James Walter "Jim" Uhls (born March 25, 1957) is an American screenwriter and producer who rose to fame with his script adaptation of the critically acclaimed novel ''Fight Club''. He earned a bachelor of theatre arts degree from Drake University in 1979, and also graduated from the UCLA Theater Program.〔(The New York Times )〕 Currently he is intended to write a screenplay for Trent Reznor's Year Zero-based HBO mini-series.
